<p>PURPOSE:To lay a wide and long rubber sheet on the sea by hauling at ends the sheet in four directions to a tensile state, laterally connecting a temple extending column to a center of the sheet to eliminate looseness, further drawing and towing the sheet and other rubber sheet, and adhering them on the water. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of laterally and longitudinally connected rubber sheets are extended to form a wide extended rubber sheet 2. Generally, the lateral and longitudinal sheets each having a width of 8-12m and a length of 50-100m are used. Plastic pipes 11 each having buoyancy are fixed by a plurality of fasteners 13 to ends of drawing parts in a drawing and towing direction of the sheet. Hooks 17 of drawing ropes have the same operation as a rope tightening band 10 and sufficient strength are used. The rope 9 is drawn and towed by a chill foul or a winch attached to an opposite shore or an anchored ship. At that time, following rubber sheet is eliminated to be loose. Thus, the wide and long sheet is laid on the sea.</p> |
