PURPOSE:To enable the blooming of a flower in arbitrary season through the four seasons by storing a bulb of a spring flowering plant at a low temperature. CONSTITUTION:A low-temperature storage chamber 1 is provided with a low- temperature treatment room 3 controlled within a temperature between -10 and +20 deg.C to store bulbs 2. The low-temperature treatment room is provided with a holding table 7 to store bulbs 2 in dry state and pots 8 to store bulbs 2 in wet state. The low-temperature storage chamber 1 is also provided, in a state separated from the low-temperature treatment room 3, with an ethylene gas exposure room 4 to treat the bulbs 2 with ethylene gas before transferring the bulbs into the low-temperature treatment room 3, a hot water room 5 to treat the bulbs 2 with hot water and a drawer 6 to store the bulbs 2 for a long period. |
