<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a powder raw material feed method to a melting furnace, by which a thin, uniform powder material layer is formed over the surface of a molten metal. CONSTITUTION:The surface temperature of a molten metal in a melting furnace is detected by a temperature detector 4, and raw material feed pipes 5 installed on the ceiling of a furnace body 1 are swang toward high-temperature points on the surface of the molten metal to feed powder material. Thereby, as a thine, uniform powder raw material layer is formed, troubles such as bumping, exposure of the surface of the molten metal, etc., can be prevented.</p> |
