PURPOSE:To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid absorption mat having excellent drip passage without damaging food. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin sheet 2 and a nonwoven fabric 3 made of thermoplastic synthetic resin having substantially equal melting temperature to that of the sheet 2 and liquid absorption are superposed, and a punching fusion-bonding tool heated to a temperature for melting the sheet 2 is pierced from the fabric 3 side through the sheet 2 to form a through hole 4. The sheet 2 of the hole 4 is melted, adhered to the superposed fabric 3, the tool is pulled to the fabric 3 side to form a section of the hole 4 in a funnel state which becomes wide at the sheet 2 side. |
