PURPOSE:To obtain fluoropolymer granules being satisfactory in heat resistance, solvent resistance, chemical resistance, etc., by using a granulation medium less destructive to the environment. CONSTITUTION:A process for granulating a fluoropolymer mainly consisting of fluoroolefin structural units, which comprises using a 3-10C fluorohydrocarbon satisfying the requirement: 1 <= the number of the hydrogen atoms <= the number of the fluorine atoms as the granulation medium, and bringing the polymer containing this medium into ocntact with water at 20-150 deg.C under agitation to purge the medium from the polymer and to granulate the polymer. |
