PURPOSE:To obtain the composition having excellent flame spread resistance, light transmittance and light-diffusibility and useful for illumination cover, inner lightening display, etc., by compounding a specific graft copolymer with specific amounts of methacrylate resin and titanium oxide. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a methacrylate resin having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.05-0.15 L/g measured in chloroform at 25 deg.C with (B) 0-30 pts.wt. of a graft copolymer produced by grafting monomers composed mainly of a methacrylic acid ester to a rubbery copolymer composed mainly of an acrylic acid ester and (C) 0.02-0.5 pts.wt. of titanium oxide or a titanium oxide composition (in terms of titanium oxide). The component A of the composition is preferably a copolymer of 99.8-90.0wt.% of methyl methacrylate and 0.2-10.0wt.% of a 1-7C alkyl acrylate and the average particle diameter of the component C is preferably 0.1-20mum. |
