Process for producing hydrophobic emulsifier containing stable paraffin hydrocarbons, ammonium salts of fatty acids, ammonia and water, characterised in melting 50-95, optimally 65-90 mass parts of paraffin and/or/paraffin gas in temperature of 50 - 100 degrees C, with condensation temperature of 50 - 60 degrees C, containing less that 7% of oil, 0.2-45, optimally 5-35 mass parts of vacuous residue with initial boiling temperature above 210 degrees C under pressure of 5hPa, forming during the distilling off process of fatty amines from the hydrogenation product of nitriles of fatty acids obtained by dehydration of ammonium salts of fatty acids, containing 14-22 atoms of carbon in each molecule, following separation of the catalyst from 3-10 mass parts of fatty acids, preferably saturated, containing 14-22 atoms of carbon per molecule, then the to the produced melt are introduced, while vigorously stirring, 5-50 to 50-95 mass parts of water with temperature of 60-95 degrees, containing 0.1-10 mass parts of ammonia water with mass concentration of 25% and subsequently, following a complete emulgation, the mixture is preferably cooled to the temperature below 50 degrees C.
