<p>PURPOSE:To make an impulsive sound caused by a head knocking phenomenon of a magnetic tape hard to leak to the outside, by blocking the outer periphery of the gap between upper and lower drums with a blocking member over the whole unwound area on the outer peripheries of the upper and lower drums of the magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:A pair of circular-arcuate blocking walls 22 is integrally formed along the outer peripheries of the upper/lower drums 2, 3 on both sides of a drum holder 4 in the drum circumferential direction, and the blocking member 21 is constituted of the walls 22 and the holder 4. Then, the constitution is made so that the magnetic tape 11 is run while being in contact with both side surfaces 21a, 21b of the member 21 at the entrance 12 and exit 13 of the drum along a tape lead 10 on the outer peripheries of the drums 2, 3 in the winding area theta1. Thus, the outer periphery of the gap 9 between the drums 2, 3 is blocked by the member 21 over the whole unwound area theta2, then the impulsive sound caused in the moment when the head 8 is in contact with or away from the tape 11 is prevented from leaking to the outside.</p> |
