PURPOSE: To improve the functions of a target by constructing the size of target given by a light source effectively variable in a sighting device of a small arms. CONSTITUTION: A sighting device for small arms comprising a holder 1 which at the point near its one end carries a light transmitting mirror 7 and at its other end in the focus of the mirror a first light emitting element 14, is provided with the first light emitting element 14 mounted on a face on a cubic beam splitter 11 and a second light emitting element 16 mounted in front of adjacent faces on the cubic beam splitter 11 in such a way that light from both light emitting elements 14, 16 to the mirror 7 coaxially follow a light common path. The sighting device comprises by arranging the light sources 14, 16 in circuits having contact members 14, 16 which selectively activate both light sources 14, 16.
