PURPOSE:To provide an organic electrolyte battery with high low-temperature, high-rate discharge performance. CONSTITUTION:An electrolyte solution prepared by dissolving a lithium salt whose heat of dissolution to 1,2-dimethoxyethane is 40KJ/mole or less as an electrolyte in a mixed solvent of a high dielectric constant solvent such as propylene carbonate and ethylene carbonate, and 1,2-dimethoxyethane is used as an organic electrolyte 4. In this organic electrolyte battery, the concentration of the lithium salt in the electrolyte is set to the concentration at the inflextion point or in its vicinity of the differential heat of dissolution of the lithium salt to the mixed solvent. |
