<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a video signal recording and reproducing device capable of performing a reservation video recording at the same time of a manual operation even when the device is not set in a video reservation stand-by state. CONSTITUTION:A first recording system provided with a first tuner 1, a first video signal processing system 2 and a first magnetic head 4 is recorded on the first track 51 on a magnetic tape 5. A second recording system provided with a second tuner 6, a second video signal processing system 7 and a second magnetic head 9 is recorded on a second track 52 on the magnetic tape 5. Reservation information inputted from an outer control panel 13 are inputted to a timer microcomputer 11 and stored in a storage circuit 10. The microcomputer 11 compares a present time with reservation information stored in the storage circuit 10 and outputs the command of a recording start/stop to a system microcomputer 12 when time becomes the reservation time. Even when the device is not set in a video reservation stand-by state, the reservation video recording is performed on another recording track when a VTR is under recording or reproducing on one of tracks.</p> |
