A fan-filter assembly comprises a grill with strips (venetian blinds), a filtering cartridge and a base housing. The base housing (20) is mounted in an opening of a wall (50) and covered, on the front face of the wall, by the grill (40) with strips. The fan (10) is fixed onto the side of the base housing (20) distant from the grill (40).
