PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device for generating speed error by which the generation of an incorrect speed error signal can be prevented by contraposing an undesirable actual speed to a command speed when the undesirable actual speed is generated by noise or unexpected disturbance. CONSTITUTION: Thus method for generating speed error includes a process for generating a comparison signal from an actual speed signal, a process for generating a reference signal from a commanded speed signal, a process for comparing the comparison signal with the reference signal, and a process for deciding which signal, whether the actual speed signal or command speed signal, is to be used as an input when a speed error signal is generated based on the results of the comparing process. A device for generating speed error is provided with comparing means 307 and 308 which generate prescribed output values by comparing the actual speed signal of an actual speed generator 301 with the commanded speed signal of a commanded speed generator 302, selecting means 311 and 312 which select the actual speed signal or commanded speed signal in accordance with the output values of the comparing means 307 and 308, and a speed error generator 313 which generates a speed error by utilizing the outputs of the selecting means 311 and 312 and the commanded speed signal. |
