PURPOSE:To reduce an irregularity in an output value by a method wherein a material solution is dropped, a chemically responsive film is formed, a coating film is left in a solvent atmosphere which dissolves the chemically sensitive film and the shape of the film is made uniform. CONSTITUTION:Copper electrodes 1a, 1b, silver layers 2a, 2b and silver chloride layers 3a, 3b are formed on a paper polyester substrate 1, and the reference electrodes 1a to 3a and the sample-liquid measuring electrodes 1b to 3b are formed. A tetrahydrofuran(THF) solution which contains B is as a sodium ionophore, orthonitrophenyl actyl ether as a film solvent and a vinyl chloride copolymer as a carrier is dropped into a slender hole 6 corresponding to the silver chloride layers 3a, 3b. The solvent is volatilized in the air. A sodium ion-responsive film 8 is formed. Then, the film 8 is housed inside a container which has been set to a THF saturated atmosphere. The film 8 is dissolved, the THF is volatilized and dispersed, and the ion-responsive film is regenerated slowly. The surface of the sodium ion-responsive film which has been obtained does not include local uneven parts, and the shape of the film inside the slender hole 6 is uniform. Consequently, its film thickness becomes uniform over its length, and its irregularity is reduced. |
