PURPOSE:To provide the automatic player which can exactly specify play support data in a short period of time when restarting play after fast rewind. CONSTITUTION:Concerning an automatic player 1, a play control means 2 reads play data out of a play data storage medium 5 for previously storing the play data composed of time data, music data corresponding to the time data and the play support data, and the automatic player 1 performs control so as to enable automatic play including replay from a relevant position when a piece of music is fast rewound from the middle or the end to any arbitrary position based on the play data. This automatic player is provided with a history data storage means 3 to store history data, for which the read time data and play support data are paired, in the order of reading and the play control means 2 stores the history data in the history data storage means 3, reads the stored history data oppositely to the order of storage in the case of fast rewinding and decides the play support data at the start position of replay based on the read history data. |
