METHOD FOR ESTABLISHING ROUTES FOR CONNECTING RESPECTIVELY COMMUNICATION NETWORK AND TRANSMISSION SOURCE DEVICE WITH RESPECTIVE OBJECTIVE NODES

PURPOSE: To provide a communication network suitable for a parallel processing system. CONSTITUTION: This communication network is provided with a service processor 10, plural terminal nodes 12, and a network of switch nodes 14 which connects the service processor 10 to terminal nodes 12 by switching. Each switch node 14 is connected to the service processor 10 directly or through another switch node 14. Each terminal node 12 is connected to one switch node 14. Each of switch nodes 14 and terminal nodes 12 has one device identifier, and at least two nodes have the same device identifier. A target node having the same device identifier as another node can be connected to the service processor 10 through at least one connection route which doesn't include any other nodes having the same device identifier as the node. All switch nodes having the same minimum connection route length may have the same device identifier.
