PURPOSE:To simplify a structure and to broaden a display area of a film liquid crystal member by bending a nondisplay area of the member and electrically connecting its connecting terminal to a connecting electrode of a circuit board. CONSTITUTION:A display opening 2 is formed on an upper surface of a watch case 1, and a glass 3 for the watch is engaged fixedly. A watch module 4 is inserted into the case 1, and mounted by using a frame member 5. A circuit board 11 controls an operation of the watch and outputs a display signal to a film liquid crystal member 20. A connecting part 21a of a flexible board becomes a nondisplay area of information, and a connecting terminal is formed on its rear surface. An end of the part 21a is bent and brought into contact with an upper surface of the board 11. A connecting electrode is formed on the upper surface of the board 11. The board 11 is electrically connected to the member 20 by a contact of the terminal with the electrode, and the display signal is output from the board 11 directly to the member 20. |
