PURPOSE:To speedily report the incoming of image information signals through an outdoor communication line to a person who watches a television broadcasting picture, video tape reproduced picture or other general pictures. CONSTITUTION:This equipment is provided with an image display device 11 for displaying general video signals, facsimile equipment 17 and personal computer communication equipment 18 for exchanging facsimile signals and personal computer communication signals through outdoor communication lines 27 and 28. Further, the equipment is provided with incoming code detection circuits 22 and 23 for detecting incoming codes containing header information added to the facsimile signal and personal computer signal received by these facsimile equipment 17 and personal computer communication equipment 18, and display control circuit 26 for synthesizing the header information contained in the incoming codes with the general video signal and supplying it to the image display device 11 in response to the detection of incoming codes due to the incoming code detection circuits 22 and 23.
