<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently manage closing ticket examination doors by regulating ticket examination at the time when the impossibility of data transmission of a contactless medium is recognized at the time of coping with data transmission of the contactless medium. CONSTITUTION:An automatic ticket examination machine is provided with open/close doors 12 and 12 and passage detecting sensors S... in front and rear positions in the ticket examination direction of a ticket examination machine main body 11, and a transmission control part 13 which reads ride data of a contactless card without contacting to allow the ticket examination, ticket slots 14 and 15 to and from which a magnetic passenger ticket is inserted and discharged, and a guide display device 16 are provided on the upper face of this machine. Since transmission is apt to be instable when the contactless card is led to a boundary part corresponding to the output limit of the transmission allowable range at the time of coping with data transmission, a CPU first discriminates whether the contactless card is correctly received and operated or not at the time of coping with data transmission. When the impossibility of data transmission of the contactless card is recognized at the time of coping with data transmission, the CPU immediately regulates ticket examination to earlier inform a ticket examination user that ticket examination is impossible.</p> |
