PURPOSE:To perform interconnection of a hose and a pipe member through one action, to simplify the structures of both a cover material and a pipe member, and to reduce a cost by a method wherein a second lock part is formed in the rear of a seal part, and a hose and the pipe member are interconnectable through one action by engagement of the second lock part with a first lock part by means of a reaction force. CONSTITUTION:A hose 3 is gradually expanded by means of a seal part 21 and brought into pressure contact with a press part 13. When a first lock part 12 is moved over the seal part 21, the shape of the first lock part 12 is restored through the resilient reaction force of a flexible part 11. After the first lock part is inserted in a through- hole 30, it is protruded toward the inner peripheral side of the hose 3 and engaged with a second lock part 23. Further, since a distance between a press part 13 and a seal part 21 is gradually decreased with the progress of insertion, the hose 3 is firmly nipped between the press part 13 and the seal part 21 and brought into pressure contact with the seal part 21 to provide high sealing ability. Meanwhile, by means of the component force of a reaction force from the hose 3, a force by which push back is effected is exerted on a pipe member 2. Thus, by means of the force, the second lock part 23 is brought into pressure contact with the first lock part 12 and the two lock parts 12 and 23 are engaged with each other. |
