PURPOSE:To accurately detect tracking servo and focus servo signals even with an optical pickup to which the scoop method is applied. CONSTITUTION:The optical pickup has a light emitting part consisting of a self-excitation oscillating type semiconductor laser and LDs 1-3, and viriations of the LDs 1-3 are detected by photodetectors PDs 1-3, etc., based on reflected light of the LDs 1-3 from an optical disk 0D5. A tracking servo mechanism and a focus servo mechanism are driven by signals of these photodetectors, and a laser beam position is compensated, so as to read a recorded signal on the OD5. |
