PURPOSE:To execute the memory dump processing even at the time of runaway of a main processor unit of a computer by providing a timer function in a memory dump switch. CONSTITUTION:A hardware timer interlocked by depressing a memory dump switch 2a is added. As a result, after the memory dump switch 2a is depressed, the timer is actuated. Also, when an MPU of a terminal equipment 2 does not run away, a timer stop instruction is generation from the MPU within a set time of the timer, and a memory dump processing and reactuation of a system are executed. On the other hand, when the MPU runs away, since the timer does not stop, a hardware executes forcibly reset due to set time over, and reactuation of the system is executed. Subsequently, reset by power-on or reset by time-out is decided in advance, and at the time of reactuation, a regular processing is started immediately at the time of power-on reset, and the memory dump processing is executed, and thereafter, shifted to the regular processing at the time of reset by time-out. |
