PURPOSE:To restrain heat generation by limiting the longest activated time of a switching element constituting an inverter circuit for reducing input thereto, when the voltage of an AC power supply drops below the rated value, regarding an inverter control device used for a home microwave oven and a rice cooker of electromagnetic induction heating type. CONSTITUTION:An inverter control device is constituted of an inverter circuit 13, a peak voltage detecting circuit 15, a peak voltage adjusting means 16, a voltage setting circuit 17, a longest activated time limiting means 18, a voltage control and oscillation circuit 19 and the like. With the inverter control device so constituted, voltage supplied to the circuit 19 is limited to the voltage of a constant-voltage reference diode 18b constituting the means 18, when source voltage drops. The maximum value of the longest activated time of a switching element 13d constituting the circuit 13 is thereby limited, and the peak voltage thereof is lowered. The voltage of the AC power supply is thus lowered to reduce input power to a pan. According to this construction, a circuit component and a cooling section can be made compact. |
