The invention relates to a physiological solution for washing parts of the human or animal body which have been in contact with a corrosive or irritant product, this solution comprising an effective amount of at least one complex AlY, AlHY or Al(OH)Y formed between the aluminium ion and an ethylenediaminetetraacetic ligand Y. The invention also relates to a process for preparing the abovementioned physiological solution.
