The present invention relates to an analogue-digital converter, comprising a set of mutually similar voltage conversion stages (STi) connected in series so that the output information from one stage constitutes input information for the following stage. Each stage comprises a memory-storage capacitor (2) which can be connected selectively to the input of the stage in order to store an input voltage of the stage, as well as an amplifier element (3) which can be connected selectively between the memory-storage capacitor (2) and the output of the stage, in order to supply an output voltage of the stage which depends on the memory-stored input voltage. According to the invention, in at least one stage of the series, other than the first stage, the capacitance of the memory-storage capacitor (C) is less than the capacitance of the memory-storage capacitor of the immediately preceding stage, and/or the width (W) of an input transistor (31) of the amplifier element (3) is less than the width of the input transistor of the amplifier element of the immediately preceding stage. <IMAGE>
