PURPOSE:To make it possible to confirm an image at the time of printing out a character to which a character attribute is added in a document. CONSTITUTION:A text mode developing part 8 reads out the text code data of a cursor position on a display device 2 from within a text code memory 9, reads out the bit map data of a code indicating the character attribute and the text code data from a CG 11 and develops the text code data and the bit map data in a text displaying memory 12 so as to superpose them on each other. On the other hand, a printing image developing part 10 reads out a text to which the character attribute of the cursor position is added and the bit map data of a text existing in the vicinity of the text concerned and developes these data in a printing image memory 13 and an image synthesizing part 14 synthesizes both the bit map data developed in the memories 12, 13 and outputs the synthesized bit map data to a display device 2. |
