<p>PURPOSE:To perform high-speed processing by the high speed processor, which speeds up the processing by substituting for the CPU on a mother board even unless the clocks of the both are in integral multiple relation. CONSTITUTION:When the clock frequency of the clock signal CLK on the mother board is 20MHz and the maximum operation frequency of the CPU 3 of the high speed processor is 33MHz, the CPU 3 does not operate with a two-multiplied clock of the clock signal. For the purpose, a clock multiplying circuit 3a multiplies the clock signal CLK by 1.5 time to generate a clock signal CLK15. There are three kinds of timing as the timing of access by the CPU 3 and the timing of access on the mother board side, so timing matched with the respective cases is generated and the both are synchronized with each other to enable the access.</p> |
