PURPOSE:To provide the method and the device for analyzing a document capable of preventing a breakdown of an analytic processing by detecting in advance an omission of a YOGEN (inflective words such as a verb, an adjective, etc.) and normalizing an input sentence. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with an input means 1 for inputting a sentence, a morpheme analyzing means 2 for analyzing the sentence by dividing it into morphemes, adding information from a dictionary 6 to its result and outputting it as a result of analysis, an integrated word analyzing means 3 for integrating the result of analysis to a phrase unit by a phrase generating part 7, and thereafter, executing an integrated word analysis and outputting its result, a semantic analyzing means 4 for receiving a result of integrated word analysis and executing a semantic analysis, and an output means 5 for displaying it. Also, the integrated word analyzing means 3 contains a particle normalization table 11 for storing in advance plural pieces of variations of a particle train being capable of occurrence, a particle-declinable word detecting part 8 for detecting an appearance pattern of a particle and a declinable word in the phrase, a declinable word omission recognizing part 9 for collating the particle train being capable of occurrence and the appearance pattern of the particle and the declinable word in the phrase, detecting an omission of the declinable word and deciding its filling-up destination, and an input adjusting part 10 for compensating and outputting the declinable word of a filling-up candidate. |
