PURPOSE:To efficiently prepare a document by separately registering and calling text information and the ruled line information of the text information with the same registration name at the time of preparing the text information and the ruled line information. CONSTITUTION:The text information and the ruled line information of the text information is prepared, the text information constituted of character strings and format information is held in a text buffer 4, and a prepared ruled line is held in a ruled line buffer 5. Also, a registration buffer 6 is equipped with a capacity sufficient for holding the text information and the ruled line information, data to be registered are temporarily stored in a storage device 3, and entire operations are controlled by a CPU 7. At that time, when a document A with a ruled line(text A + ruled line A) is prepared, the ruled line A and the text A are separately registered and called with the same registration name. Therefore, a new document can be prepared by integrating a separately prepared test B with the ruled line A, and the new document can be prepared by integrating a separately prepared ruled line B with the text A. Thus, the document can be efficiently prepared. |
