PURPOSE:To turn ON and OFF a power switch without placing a load on the control of a terminal device by providing a member which guides a light signal from the optical communication processor to a terminal device side and forming a loop of the light signal when the terminal device is arranged on the optical communication processor. CONSTITUTION:When the terminal device 1 is installed in the optical communication processor 3, the light signal from a light emission part 7 in the optical communication processor 3 is sent to a light reception part 8 in the optical communication processor 3 through a member 6 provided in the terminal device 1. Then a signal comparing circuit 10 compares the signal received by the light reception part 8 with a specific reference signal to decide whether or not the specific terminal device 1 is installed. When the signals are equal to each other, the power switch 12 is turned ON and a control part 11 starts specific operation. Further, the terminal device 1 is supplied with electric power from the optical communication processor 3 through a power supply terminal 14 and a power reception terminal 15 instead of its internal battery to perform the specific operation. |
