<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a converted picture like a kaleidoscopic picture by reading out the input video signal in a memory by the read address of a prescribed read address generator. CONSTITUTION:Since a read address generator 13 which generates the read address to read out picture data from a frame memory 11 inputs a sequential read address signal S3 and processes the sequential read address to send the processed read address to a frame memory 11 as a read address signal S4. the signal S1 is transformed as prescribed with respect to an output video signal $5 read out from the memory. In the converted picture to which a kaleidoscope effect is given by a picture converter 10, a base picture Stheta is folded by lines Ltheta1. Ltheta2. and Ltheta3 radially extended from a center point O of the picture at intervals of a prescribed angle. A picture SXY is folded by lines LX1, LX2, etc., parallel with X and Y axes.</p> |
