<p>PURPOSE:To lessen occurrence of breakage even in the case of winding electrode plates in a group and also, lessen the load of a winding core in the case of winding in a group by curving them into circular shape in advance in the direction of curvature at the time of winding of the electrode plates in a group. CONSTITUTION:In the fist place, an active substance is charged into a forming metal which has continuous three-dimensional highly porous mesh structure and has specified positive electrode dimensions. Then, this foaming metal is temporarily heated and dired to remove excessive active substances stuck to the surface, and then it is pressed by pressurization. Next the pressed foaming metal 6 is given warps, by using a plurality of rolls 5 arranged zigzag, and then it is heated and dried regularly, and some after-processes for surface processing are applied to get a positive plate. On the other hand, a negative plate is also manufactured by the above-mentioned method or other method, and then it is laid on top of the other with a separator, and they are wound in a group.</p> |
