PURPOSE:To manufacture a coil of a complicated shape by manufacturing an oxide superconductor coil by using an iron or copper metallic thin plate as a mold material. CONSTITUTION:Raw material powder 2 of Y-oxide superconductor is filled by a fixed amount between layers of a coil mold 1 manufactured by an iron thin plate. The iron thin plate mold filled of raw material powder is inserted to a press molding device and is pressed at a fixed pressure in a central axial direction of a coil. Thereafter, the compressed raw material powder is taken out of the press molding device together with the mold. The raw material powder which is formed by press is thermally treated in air or in oxygen atmosphere in an electrical furnace together with the mold. When a coil mold 4 which is the coil mold 1 which became fragile because of oxidation is removed, a sintered coil-shaped Y-oxide superconductor 5 can be obtained. Then, after sintering or oxygen annealing is performed for a Y-oxide superconductor coil if necessary, the mold is removed and a hollow part is filled of epoxy resin 6 and set. Thereby, a coil of a complicated shape can be manufactured. |
