The present invention relates to a relief pot for the treatment of fumes, in particular of a condensation boiler, which makes it possible to obtain a complementary dehydration of the fumes, an effective chemical treatment and to retain the condensation which is then treated chemically to be returned to the drain with a neutral pH. The relief pot according to the invention comprises an impermeable enclosure (10), a tube (20) which is connected to the fume outlet of the boiler and the free end (18a) of which is arranged facing the free surface (31) of a layer of water (30) formed at the bottom of said enclosure (10). The relief pot also comprises a fume outlet pipe (22) connected to a chimney (24). The invention also relates to a boiler installation comprising such a relief pot, a combustion chamber and a condenser. <IMAGE>
