The invention deals with a hull for constructing catamarans or floats or similar boat structures. The hull consists of hinged plates, where, for example, a plate hinged at three points, that is, three plates hinged together, is folded and connected to form a triangular hull and is filled with air-filled backing material, e.g. a PVC tube (foamed material, etc.).
