An electric switchgear panel (1) has push-in/pull-out equipment (7) connectable by means of fixed and movable disconnecting contacts (8, 9; 11, 12) to bus bars (10) and cables (14). A protective device has a protective plate (24) which allows the bus bar compartment (4) to be separated from the switching compartment (3) of the switchgear panel (1). The protective plate (24) consists of pieces linked to each other by elastic flexible links (27). A guide carrier (34) linked to bent guide rails (35) receives the protective plate (24). The bent guide rails (35) have a symmetrical I-shaped profile and may be used as left and right guide rails.
