The present invention relates to a makeshift house with four walls, at right angles with respect to one another, and a saddleback roof, as emergency accommodation or storage area, essentially all the parts consisting of rigid foam, and a frame which corresponds to the outline of the house being located on a base slab, the base slab projecting beyond the frame at least by the thickness of the side walls, the end walls exhibiting a top angle corresponding to the roof inclination and having laterally exterior clamping mouldings which are directed towards the opposite end wall and enclose the side walls on the outside; the roof halves bearing on the angles and the upper edges being secured by a rider which comprises two covering mouldings, directed towards one another at the roof angle, and retaining elements which are arranged perpendicularly with respect to said covering mouldings and rest on the facade of the end walls; stops which rest on the side walls in the interior of the building being arranged in the vicinity of the eaves-side lower edge of the roof halves, parallel to said lower edge. <IMAGE>
