The invention relates to an air outlet for blowing out an air current, having a base plate which is penetrated by at least one base-plate opening, to which is assigned an air-guiding element which subdivides the base-plate opening into an air-outlet opening for a main air current and a blocking-air outlet opening for a blocking-air current, the air-guiding element having a base element, which serves both for the fixture to the base plate and the formation of the blocking-air outlet opening, and an air-directing wall which uncouples the blocking-air current from the air current. Provision is made to arrange the air-directing wall (6) pivotably on the base element (5). <IMAGE>
