By means of the mortar gun, fluid or pasty media, in particular motars of different composition and degrees of fineness can be sprayed continuously and with a uniform spraying jet. The mortar gun comprises a gun housing (1) with a material-feed coupling (15) for the connection of a material-feed hose and with a material-guiding channel (9), at the end of which there are provided an outlet means with an outlet nozzle (28) and a compressed-gas annular feed channel (30) for the mortar stream. Provided upstream of the compressed-gas annular feed channel (30) are compressed-gas feed passages (13) which, distributed symmetrically around the circumference of the material-guiding channel (9), channel compressed gas to the mortar stream and are aligned radially with respect to the same. Embodiments of the gun with exchangeable material-guiding sleeves (10) and variably adjustable outlet means permit optimisation of the gun and thus also optimisation of the quality of the spray jet for a large range of different spraying media. <IMAGE>
