An electrical power generation plant has a gas tubine subsystem (2, 3) free of a compressor, and a compressor subsystem (1') which is remote from the gas turbine subsystem and which has an inlet receiving air and an outlet furnishing compressed air. A compressed air line links the outlet and the gas turbine subsystem.
