SECONDARY (2,3) ALKYL SULFATE SURFACTANTS IN MIXED SURFACTANT PARTICLES

Secondary (2,3) alkyl sulfate surfactants are used to prepare free-flowing detergent particles which contain various co-surfactants. Thus, particles comprising the secondary (2,3) alkyl sulfates and co-surfactants such as primary alkyl sulfates, polyhydroxy fatty acid amides, alkyl ethoxy sulfates, alpha -sulfonated fatty acid esters, alkyl polyglycosides and mixtures thereof are prepared. The use of such particles in granular laundry detergents, including high density granules, is disclosed.
