Method and device for registering and evaluating the electromagnetic compatibility behaviour of an electrical instrument

A measuring system is described which is intended to be used for registering and evaluating the electromagnetic compatibility behaviour of an electrical instrument or an electronic circuit. The measuring system according to the invention essentially consists of a measuring sensor which is matched by variable adjustment parameters to the electromagnetic compatibility behaviour of the instrument or of the circuit. When the value of the interference quantity becomes close to the value which corresponds to a functional defect, or when this critical value is reached, a signal is produced by the measuring system. The sensor of the measuring system has two adjustable measuring parameters. The first sensor parameter is technically produced by a registering unit for the line-associated interference quantity, which unit reproduces the geometry of the circuit or the electromagnetic instrument properties. This registering unit cooperates with a subassembly which guarantees adjustability of the electromagnetic properties. The second sensor parameter is produced by a unit for taking into account or reproducing the IC sensitivity. This unit may likewise have an adjustment function. <IMAGE>
