PURPOSE:To enable effective supply of fuel to an engine by providing the suction pipe assembly with a plurality of solenoid valves having different fuel passage areas and changing the number and the kind of the valves according to the suction amount. CONSTITUTION:With air sucked in through an air cleaner 1, an air amount detector 4 generates an AC voltage signal having a frequency proportional to the air velocity or the like, and a microcomputer 7 generates a pulse row synchronous to the frequency. The pulse row is converted into a driving pulse row by an arithmetic circuit 7b before driving solenoid valves 8 and 8'. The valve 8 having a smaller fuel passage area may be singly operated in low air flow rate operation, the valve 8' having a larger fuel passage area may be singly operated in medium air flow rate operation, and both the valves 8 and 8' may be operated in high air flow rate operation.
