<p>An adenoviral vector including a DNA sequence encoding a lung surfactant protein. The adenoviral vector may be a replication deficient adenoviral vector which is free of at least the majority of the E1 and E3 DNA sequences. Such vectors may be employed for generation of infectious viral particles which may transduce lung epithelial cells in vivo to enable the expression of lung surfactant protein by such cells.</p> |
