Method and system for transmitting telefax signals

The special feature of this method and system consists in that, for transmitting the telefax signals, a teletext channel of a TV transmitter is utilised. A special transmission device is proposed for appropriately extracting the telefax signals from the signals transmitted in the teletext channel and processing them.
