<p>PURPOSE:To easily change a system in a short time, by performing the cut off and the extension of a low-order bus, and the termination of the low-order bus, by combining a connection board and a termination board. CONSTITUTION:A multiprocessor system is constituted by providing two CPUs 1-2, and connecting three I/Os 1-1-1-3 to the CPU1, and two I/Os 2-1-2-2 to the CPU2. Also, the CPUs 1-2, etc., are mounted on boards 11a-11g respectively. In this titled connecting system, all of the high-order buses are connected on a mother board 15, and the low-order buses 5-6 are cut off by every regulated number of boards (every two, in figure). In this way, the connectors 19 of a connection board 17 are fitted in and connected to the pins 15a of the first I/O board 11b and the second I/O board 11c. Also, the low-order bus 5 is terminated by fitting the connector 19 of a termination board 18 in the pin 15a of the last I/O board 11d. As a result, it is possible to constitute a bus easily and flexible corresponding to the number of CPUs, etc.</p> |
