<p>A hemostatic hydrocolloid gel dental impression material formulated from an agar hydrocolloid modified by the inclusion of potassium sulfate in the amount of between about 4-12 %. The potassium sulfate acts as a hemostatic additive, to cause constriction of the blood vessels and terminate bleeding into the dental impression composition.</p> |
