PURPOSE:To obtain the titled inexpensive film excellent in moisture permeability and flexibility and useful for diapers, by stretching a sheet comprising low- density linear PE, an inorganic filler, and a specified high-pressure process low-density PE and/or an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer. CONSTITUTION:50-300pts.wt. inorganic filler (e.g., CaCO3) (A) being in the form of a powder of a particle size <=20mum and containing an alkaline earth metal oxide is melt-kneaded with (B) 10-100pts.wt. high-pressure process low- density PE of a MI>=10 and/or ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer of a density of 0.85-0.90 and a crystallinity <30% to obtain a mixture in which component A is coated with component B. This mixture is mixed with 100pts.wt. low- density linear PE (C) of a density of 0.90-0.94, obtained by (co)polymerizing ethylene with, optionally, an alpha-olefin and the resulting mixture is mixed with, optionally, a pigment, a lubricant, a dispersant, a stabilizer, etc. The obtained sheet is stretched at least unidirectionally at a draw ratio of 120-500% to obtain the titled film of a thickness of 10-100mum. |
