In the case of fittings which have been used up until now, insulation of the fitting has only been possible by complex manual work. Use of an intermediate piece which is seated on the flange of the neck of the fitting, consisting of a material of low thermal conductivity and of an apron enclosing the flange, provides the preconditions for uniform insulation connections. This intermediate piece delimits insulation air spaces and prevents moisture in the air from condensing on a cold fitting or loss of energy in a heating circuit. <IMAGE> |
