PURPOSE:To obtain a polyacetal resin comps. which is excellent in compatibility and dispersibility between resin components contained therein and gives a molded article free from delamination and excellent in mechanical properties by compounding a polyacetal resin with a styrene resin and a phenolic high-mol.- wt. compd.. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. comprises 100 pts.wt. polyacetal resin, 1-100 pts.wt. styrene resin, 1-30 pts.wt. phenolic polymer compd. having phenol groups in the main chain or side chains, and 0-200 pts.wt. inorg. or org. filler. The phenolic polymer compd. greatly improves the compatibility and dispersibility between the polyacetal and the styrene resin, resulting in homogeneous dispersion of fine particles of the styrene resin, strong adhesion at the interface between the disperse phase and dispersing medium, improvement in the surface state of a molded article, and a marked improvement in mechanical properties. |
